PHOTOBOOTH ANNUAL
As anyone who knows me will know, my boyfriend, he lives a long way away. And because of this, sometimes I send him a pic of where I’m at or what I’m up to. Other times me and my fellow comrades, we like to pass the time out-nerding one another over email via the medium of photobooth. Occasionally I’m just plain drunk and feel I need to document that fact (much to the amusement of my own tiny mind). The rest of the time I just like playing with the booth. The result though of all this non-sensical self-portraiting, well it’s whole load of random photos which – not even mildly amusing on their own - when put in a sequence, like some kind of unintended time lapse, make for quite an amusing summary of my year.

IT'S XMAS. TIME FOR SOME OBLIGATORY FUN
This week has been non-stop. It's been a lot of fun. There's been fake dancing, costume making, UV painting, fake reporting and advert making, shooting, a fair bit of laughing, even a Jaffa-Cake-meter eating. But no matter how much you're enjoying yourself, you still end up knackered. And inevitably it's always the worst kind of timing.
Tonight is our work's Christmas do. That's right. It's time to don ridiculous costumes, down a great deal of what tastes vaguely like complimentary ethanol and dance like you've never done it before. I shouldn't be such a scrooge about it, but my legs hurt, my head's pounding and I've got shed loads of Christmas presents to buy. But then this morning everything changed.
It's nothing spectacularly creative, but it's certainly not short on good spirit. It's HMS OCEAN's christmas vid. A few watches of this and suddenly, the rain begins to look like the first snow of December. The beeping of machinery around the office becomes the jingling of bells. And that distended whooshing sound of paper making it's way through a photocopier, well, it's the sound of the wind rushing past the window, whilst you're all warm and cosy inside...
Plus it's MEN IN UNIFORM ^_^ (although the fourth guy - the one in the shorts and deck shoes - that's questionable. I'm not sure that's a REAL UNIFORM)
Enjoy and merry christmas.
(The guys wearing nothing but a present are priceless)

HEROIC EFFORT
Despite being incredibly busy lately, it seems I'm finding more and more time to spend letting my mind wonder, my fingers type and my eyes feast on, yep, you guessed it, VIMEO. So it was at something like 2 in the morning, yesterday morning, I came across this. Super spectacular effort (hence the title). Beginning to wonder whether I couldn't squeeze doing something like that in as well. Does anyone really need sleep. And how much sleep - or should it be how little - is bad for you?

NOVELTY
It's officially worn off. Going to go back to a traditional layout. Why am I so easily distracted by all things 'shiny'?
And this season's the worst for that kind of things baubles, tinsel, sparkly, sparkly lights. Must focus. But I have good news. My request to Christmas-ify the filth machine at work have not fallen on deaf ears. I have been reassured by several sources, they will be putting some form of chocolate coinage in the fat machine. Even if it's not quite the little golden net sacks I had initially envisaged, I'm not going to complain. The question is what do we do for Easter. Real live chicks? Not sure the dry roasted nuts in there would last long if we did that.
