The 91,583 pound (as in sterling) life project

A smile for your ears

Found this yesterday. A very nice playlist for working too. Makes me want to go on a roadtrip. To nowhere in particular. In the sunshine.

Something for Sunday

The sun's shining here in Brum and Sunday so far's been exactly what a Sunday should be- time to catch up. And it's been a while since I've done that, so here's just a short post. It's about something I've had on me for about a month now, but have only just stopped to look at. Kijjaa! If you, like I, find yourself torn between the warm fuzziness of analogue and sheer spectacle of digital, then this, dear friend, may be the thing for you. It's like 8bit and AR collide and fantastic holographic pixel graphics sheer off in every direction. There isn't actually any AR  to it, but my point is it's old school with a high tech feel to it. Enough already though. The app. Kijjaa! Basically it allows you to use your iPhone as a wireless controller for an arcade 8bit-esque game that plays out on your computer screen. Got to say stuff like that, makes me just a little bit happy. I'll even forgive them the exclamation in the name simply because it's such a cool little app. And it just looks super cute too. Check it out here.

Type-tastic birthday gift

N.A.T.O. Productions wishes me a very happy birthday

This, I know, is the worst thing to do with a blog. But I'm going to claim this is a showcase of fresh talent, disguised as a massive thank you for my Indienne anniversaire. Thanks to my little big bro (N.A.T.O. Productions) for this cracking card. Thanks also to Sam Taylor for his photography and capturing the goofiest shot of the evening. And a mention should also go out to Rog for the lend of this sweet little Canon lens.
